"No State shall engage in any war without the consent of the United States in Congress assembled, unless such State be actually invaded by enemies, or shall have received certain advice of a resolution being formed by some nation of Indians to invade such State, and the danger is so imminent as not to admit of a delay till the United States in Congress assembled can be

consulted..."

 

The Articles of Confederation portrayed the aggreement between the original 13 colonies of the United States of America, which also served as the  US Constitution. These articles were wrtten and signed by the Continental congress, who were "in charge" during the American Revolution, so this document was used and considered when making various important decisions during the revolution. This quote explained the specific actions that should be taken when a state has a conflict with another nation, country, or anyone. 

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness."

The Declaration of Independence asserts the exact definition of territory of the 13 colonies, who seperated from the Brittish. This document was written and signed by 56 delegates represented by the Continental Congress who have the authority to act, write, and sign on actions that helped the progress of the American Revoltution. This quote explaines the equlity of "all" men; even if, at that time, it was just American men, but now its more, now its females and men of the world.
